The Gods have smiled upon me... I currently have 44 of 62 documented set items

I have 6 of 16 documented complete sets: Berserker, Death, Hsaru, Infernal, Sigon, and Vidala

Including 4 items from Tancred, and 3 from Arctic, Isenhart, and Milabrega

I am closest to a complete set with Arctic, Cleglaw, Isenhart, Milabrega, and Tancred by missing only 1

Newest items: Tancred's Crowbill, Sigon's Gage, and Berserker's Headgear (Oct 30)

I read several interesting things over at the Official Diablo II Expansion Set Site. Here's some of the interesting excerpts from the FAQ:

Will there be Exceptional Uniques and Set Items?
Yes. Also, we are altering the set-piece rules to make them more fun. For example you may get a bonus for only having 2 items in a particular set of 4 items.

How will there be 1000s of new weapons? Will there be that many new class items or does that mean more new suffixes/prefixes, and the new Exceptional Set/Unique Items?
There will be new prefixes, new suffixes, new item types, new class specific items, new set items and new quest items. When you combine the new possibilities this brings to random item generation, it will provide players with a stunning new array of weapons and armor to wield.

How much more room will be available in the Stash?
Currently we are doubling the existing size of the Stash. Since we will be making enhancements to set-piece items, we want to make sure you can carry a whole set, among other things.

I currently plan to update this site past the release of the expansion set, including information from it. Stay tuned.

I'm still receiving emails offering to give me set items. While I truly do appreciate this outpouring of generosity and interest, this site is currently more focused on my personal quest to find the items. Please don't take this as anger or frustration - I enjoy reading and responding to all emails - but I do feel bad turning people down when they have gone through the trouble of extracting and zipping up items.

Lastly, I'm sorry for the lack of updates with items and the like. I've been playing around with setting up a small LAN party with several friends. To add to that, some truly wicked person got me hooked on The SIMS (sigh). I did just beat the game in Hell difficulty with my Necro, so it's time to start up a Hardcore Barbarian or Paladin.

Fairly big update this time. No actual sets, but I have been trying to accomodate some email requests.

Many people asked me to put up what the items I didn't have were, so that they could gamble for the items. I'm going give this a try and see how it works. I only see two problems: A) people may mistakenly think that I actually have the items and/or that I'm going against the part of my mission statement that says that this site is a journal of one man's quest to find all the sets. B) that the way I get my information (since I don't believe it'd be legal for me to just copy info out of the strategy guide to put on here) - namely from Jamella's Hero Editor - is completely accurate. Anyway, I'm giving it a try. I've only done the first two sets on my list, Angelic and Arcanna, so let me know what you think.

Small update on the mission statement

Lastly, I spent considerable time experimenting with the question of what happens when you wear two complete sets at once. Go check that out. I'll put the link in my drop-down menu ASAP.

I'm going to bed. Have a better one.

I don't know why I date these since they don't ever go online the day that I actually do the updates... oh well. I hurt my back so I haven't been able to upload the files (yeah, I have no internet at home and I'm lame). Sorry about that.

I updated a bit, mainly little things here and there (like saying in my page on backing up your items that there weren't any trainers =) ). I also added a section of my screenshots on a little bug that I encountered earlier today.

No response from DiabloII.net as to a link exchange. I don't know if they don't like me, have banned my email address, or just can't reply to me. That's ok... my items section is becoming more thorough than theirs =)

Completed another set and I've been contemplating: there are a few sets that will take me an extremely long time to complete. Namely, those that have items that you cannot gamble for. I've lucked out and picked up a war scepter and grim wand, but there is still a war staff (Arcanna), grand sceptor (Civerb), and battle staff (Cathan) that I need. To add to my frustrations, I need about 6 amulets and at least one ring! Even more disturbing is the fact that I need ancient armor (Milabrega) and a breast plate (Isenhart), and those things are 100k at least to gamble for.

Anyway, I've added a few things to the quicklink drop-down menu. You may notice that sets that I've completed now have a star (*) before their name.

SIGONNNNN!!!!!!!!!! (lookey lookey)

I've received several letters asking me exactly what my page is about, offering to give me the remaining items I need, and even asking why (if they happen to know why I refuse offers of these items) I would link to a trainer at the bottom of my site, so I've decided that it'd be prudent to explain/answer these comments/questions in some sort of a mission statement. You can view that now, and I'll add a link to it in my drop-down menu as soon as I get it finalized.

Thanks for your interest and feedback; keep it coming. This site may be moving to another location - moving from a community college to a university does have its perks - so look for that possibility.
