I apologize for the quality of the screenshots. My gamma is set pretty dark because it makes the colored lights show up better and just looks cooler, but it doesn't make for great screenshots. I've done the best I can with my graphics editer to make them look a bit better. Click on any of the images to see a larger version.

Gheed the Funny

I don't actually know how I got this. It was sometime after beating the first act and going back, but I don't remember what I did to get the message.

You can get this message after beating the first act and talking to Gueed about the Sister of something-or-rather.

F@%$ing Multiple-Shot Mages!!!

I came across a multi-shot mage in Act 3 and he kept casting ice storm (or whatever) on me. It lagged the hell out of my computer (K6-2,96 RAM, Voodoo3-3000). As you can see in this shot, I actually disappeared off the screen for a time while my computer was trying to catch up.

It was virtually unplayable. The game would literally stop and try to draw all the action on the screen! The f@%$er killed me twice.

Actually, the worst part was the smell after the fire golem walked through =)

There's good news and bad news. The good news is that Diablo II doesn't support higher resolutions. The bad news is that there are so darn many colors.

The thing about this screen was that we couldn't find Jon's body amidst the carnage. Unfortunately, I missed my cue, and took the screen right after he found it =)
